Ben Leinbach was the son of Andrew J. and Lovenia E. (Bosley) Leinbach and was born March 8, 1908 in Walla Walla, Washington. He had served in the U.S. Army during peace time and was discharged in 1929. He married Hazel Miller on September 30, 1934 in Ellensburg.
Ben and Hazel had two sons, Earle and Charles, and two daughters, Charlotte and Eleanor. He died at home at the age of 43 years. He was survived by his widow and children, all of Ellensburg; his parents; two brothers, Jack and Robert Leinbach of Yakima; a sister, Mrs. Alice McDonall of Honolulu, and an uncle, Earl Grigsby of Ellensburg.
Funeral service were conducted on Wednesday, November 21, 1951 at 2 p.m. in the Honeycutt-Evenson chapel, with the Rev. H. T. Sorenson officiating and burial following in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Ellensburg.
