Services for Rhonda Iris Talkington, 49, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2005, at Craddock Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Terry Tolbert officiating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Born on June 26, 1956, in Ardmore to Thomas M. and Winifred Iris Bransford Talkington, she died on July 19, 2005, at a local health care facility. She was preceded in death by her mother on July 3, 2002.

She graduated from North Texas State University and was an associate for T&L Shoes. A resident of this area for eight years, moving here from Denton, Texas, she was an accomplished organist and member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She is survived by her father, Thomas Talkington, Ardmore; and many other relatives and friends. Bearers will be Larry Hicks, Duane Hicks, George Hicks Jr., Dewey Hicks, Gary Hicks and Don Jackson. Honorary bearers are Henry Hicks, Richard Hicks, Earl Ray Hicks, Glyn Hicks, Myron Hicks, Nolan Hicks, Marion Hicks, Roscoe Hicks and Jack Sloan.
