My uncle, & much loved Godfather,
William Henry Musk,
was born on the 2nd March 1913, at Dickleburgh, Norfolk, England.

He was the third of nine children, & second son of
William Elijah Musk & Florence Amelia Potter.

He was brought up on his parents farm in Dickleburgh,
served in the Army during WW2
& later worked for the Granny company
Messers W Smith & Son,in Dickleburgh.

On 24 March 1934, at Dickleburgh Church, he married
Olive Jemima Cobb (1910-1978)

They lived in Dickleburgh, and had a son
Alistair Patrick Musk, who sadly died aged 27 years,
on 14th March 1963.
(He is buried at Dickleburgh Church Graveyard)

In May 1956, he became the proud Godfather of
Chris Ockenden, daughter of his sister Daisy.
The christening took place at Dickleburgh Church.

Sadly Olive was diagnosed with cancer,
and he cared for her 24/7
until her death in 1978.

William or Bill as he was called, continued living in Dickleburgh
until his death on 5th November 1992.

He is buried with his beloved Olive in Dickleburgh Church graveyard,
a few rows from his son Alistair, & parents William & Florence Musk.

You cannot see me or touch me
But I'm standing next to you
Your tears will only hurt me,
Your sadness makes me blue,
Be brave, and show a smiling face
Let not your grief shine through,
I love you from a different place,
Yet I'm standing next to you.

A big thank you to Deb,
for sponsoring my Godfather's memorial.
YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL FOR DOING THIS.
