Mr. Forrester, resided near Clarksville, Tenn., was a 1987 graduate of Blackford County High School in Hartford City. He was active in the Blackford Co. 4-H while in school.
He entered the U.S. Army in 1987 & became a member of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regt (the Army's elite Night Stalkers) serving until 1998 at Fort Campbell, Ky.
He was employed by Bell South in Dover, TN, where he was a member of the American Legion & a Boy Scout leader. He attended the Univ. of So. Florida & Austin Peay Univ. in Clarksville. A member of the Pleasantdale United Methodist Church, Hartford City.
Mr. Forrester was born in Hartford City April 15, 1969 to Terry & Nelva Forrester, both of whom survive & still reside in here.
Other survivors are a son, Zachary and a daughter, Kaitlyn , both at home; two brothers, Greg of Hartford City and Todd of Brodhead, Wis,; his maternal grandparents, Kenneth & Wilma Dean Ickes of Dunkirk; three nephews & a niece. His paternal grandparents, Russell & Frances Forrester, are deceased.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Glancy Funeral Homes, Walker Chapel, in Montpelier, where calling hours are today from 6-8 p.m. & Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. Rev. Steve Loft will officiate, burial will be in Historical Woodlawn Cemetery at Montpelier.
