Dorothy May Davidson, 84, of Pittsburg, Kansas, died at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center, Pittsburg, Kansas.
She was born May 24, 1919, at Pittsburg, Kansas, to Homer F. and Dessie L. (Ireland) Wisdom.
She attended area schools.
She married Lyle O. Davidson on May 21, 1937, at Pittsburg, Kansas. He survives of Pittsburg, KS.
She was a member of the Holiness Church at Fifth and Fairview. She also attended the Mulberry Holiness Church.
Survivors include one son, Gary Davidson of Arcadia, KS; two daughters, Gloria Yarbough of Yukon, OK, and Joetta Mynatt of Carthage, MO; one brother, Jess Wisdom of Cambridge, OH; two sisters, Ruth Carr of Cumberland, OH, and Naomi Schorrock of West Chester, OH; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Homer Wisdom; and one sister, Catherine Wisdom.
Services will be Monday at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home with Brother Mike Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Crocker Cemetery in rural Pittsburg, Kansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway, Pittsburg, KS.
