BEVERLY MAY BLOWERS

Beverly May Blowers, age 85 of Austin died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at St. Mark's Lutheran Home.

She was born May 11, 1923 in Albert Lea, Minnesota to Jens and Laura (Berg) Borris. She graduated from Austin High School and was married to Raymond Blowers on September 16, 1944 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin. The Blowers have resided in Austin where Beverly was employed by the Austin Public Schools as a Library assistant at the Woodson and Nevlin Elementary Schools.

She was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church and the Parkinson's Support Group. Bev enjoyed golfing, bowling and was a member of several bridge clubs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Lyman Lingbeck, a great grandson and sister-in-law Joanne Borris.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with The Reverend Ron Barnett Officiating. Friends may greet the family for one hour before the service on Tuesday morning. Memorials are preferred to the Parkinson's Association, St. Olaf Lutheran Church or St. Marks Lutheran Home. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Beverly is survived by her husband: Raymond Blowers, Austin, MN; Son: Micheal Blowers, Austin, MN; Daughters and sons-in-law: Jan and Terry Fox, Austin, MN, : Sally and Chuck Cleland, Brooklyn Park, MN; Grandchildren: Scott (Leslie Ann) Fox, Austin, MN; Sara Fox, Hermosa Beach, CA; Jason Blowers, Austin, MN; Jennifer Beckel, Austin, MN; 13 Great Grandchildren; Brother: James E. Borris, Mesa, AZ; Nieces and Nephews
