Mrs. Elizabeth Clark Weaver, a native of Circleville, Ohio, where her parents were pioneer residents, passed away Monday morning at 11:59 o'clock at the home of her great neice Mrs. C. M. Huffman, 1318 Center Street, Portsmouth. Infirmities caused death after a long illness. Although failing for the past year her condition had not been serious but for the last three months. In 1901, Mrs. Weaver sustained a broken hip in a fall but recovered from this injury and enjoyed fairly good health until about a year ago.

Mrs. Weaver, born in Circleville, a daughter of E. B. and Elizabeth Thompson Clark, was the widow of Jacob Weaver who died on his farm near Circleville in 1903. Mrs. Weaver was nearly 81 years of age. She was the last of a family of nine children.

For the past ten years, Mrs. Weaver had been making her home here with Mr. and Mrs. Huffman. She had won many friends here who will be sorry to learn of her death.
