Mrs Lucy Walter, 92, mother-in-law of San Leandro City Councilman William Swift, died yesterday in a San Leandro hospital.
Services will be at the Guerrero-Scramur Mortuary, San Leandro, at 1 pm Wednesday.
Mrs. Walter was a native of Marysville and had lived in the San Leandro area 70 years. She was a member of the Broadmoor Community Church of San Leandro.
She was the wife of the late Charles N Walter, and the mother of Mrs. Elizabeth Swift of San Leandro and Charles Addison Walter of Honolulu. She also is survived by six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Private inurnment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Oakland.
