Anna was born in Little Rock, Ark. and had lived in Morristown for the past 25 years; she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and friend to all who knew her; a member of Bean Station Church of God, where she was a volunteer; she loved gardening, her pets and family; daughter of the late Ernie B. and Geneva B. Proctor Starkey; preceded in death by her husband, William D. Bill McCall, who died in 2007; and three siblings.

Surviving is one daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and James Lynn Kosack, of Detroit, Ore.; five sons, Robert Leon McCall, of Sandy, Ore., William D. McCall, Jr. and wife, Theda, of Cashiers, James M. McCall and wife, Theresa, of Newburg, Ore., Robert Bryan Bumgarner and wife, Sue, of Springfield, Ore. and Clarence Lee Bumgarner, of Morristown, Tenn.; one sister, Ava M. English, of Springfield, Ore.; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Heady Mountain Baptist Church, Cashiers, with the Rev. Johnny Norris officiating.
Burial will be at 12 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Sylva.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Melton-Riddle Funeral Home, Sylva.
