Grand Rapids Press obituary 10 Dec 1965- Funeral services were held Monday in Pilgrim Home Cemetery for Richard Bazan, 86,of Grand Rapids, a former Holland resident, who died Friday, Dec. 10 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Page of Grand Rapids. He is survived by his wife, Jennie; six sons, Cornelius, George, Bernard and Raymond of Grand Rapids: Harold of Byron Center and James of Dorr; 5 daughters, Mrs. William Nyenhuis of Hudsonville, Mrs. Phares Courtney of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Alfred Newman of Grand Rapids. Other survivors include 28 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, one brother, Bert, and two sisters Mrs. Bert Dykgraaf and Mrs. C. R. Aussicker.
