Born into a racehorse training family and thats what he did for a living. He trained and raced in New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska, Illinois, and Arkansas. He married Emma Allene Rogers January 21, 1955. When he got sick and couldn't race anymore, he made breakfast tacos and sold them to people at the races.
