SUDDEN DEATH OF THE AUSTRIAN CONSUL-GENERAL
Chevalier Charles F. Loosey, The Austrian Consul-General, dropped dead last evening in Thirteenth-street, and his body was removed to the New-York Hotel. He has been Consul and Consul-General since 1852, and helped in the enterprise of starting a line of steamers to Trieste, but failed to establish it. He was prominently connected with the Infants' Hospital in Fifty-First-Street and Lexington-avenue.
