Helen M. Kott, much loved mother and grandmother, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, following a short battle against cancer.
Helen was born in Blackfoot on July 23, 1926, a daughter of the late Elmer and Orbie Goodenough. She spent her childhood in Inkom, graduating from Inkom High School.
She moved to Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas, from Raytown, Mo., seven years ago, and then most recently to Heritage Place in Boerne, Texas.
Helen was a city assessor in Raytown, Mo., until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kott, sister, Loretta Buffi, and daughter-in-law, Patricia Kott.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Randle, and husband Stephen, a son George (Rick) Kott of Hudson, Colo., granddaughters, Stephanie Detlefsen and Rachel Kott, great-grandchildren. Drew, Dean and Helen, also a brother, Bill Goodenough, sister-in-law. Helen, and sister, Mildred Christensen.
She was cremated and a family memorial service and burial will be held July 30 at the Inkom Cemetery at 11 a.m., where she will be joined with her dearly departed husband in eternal rest.
