Filed for an invalid pension Jan.19, 1863 (certificate # 32299). Married Mary J. Smith on May 24, 1863 in Delaware Co., Ia. Registered for the draft in June 1863 while living in Hazel Green Twsp., Delaware Co., a 21 yr. old married farmer. Died in 1916 as his wife filed for a widow's pension on Oct.11, 1916 (certificate # 825640).
