A memorial service for former Shelby County resident Jesse O. Hickman, Jr., 36, Indianapolis, will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Flanner and Buchanan Shadeland Mortuary. There will be no calling hours. Mr. Hickman died Sunday at Indiana University Medical Center.
Mr. Hickman, who had been employed as a graphic artist for the National Printing Company, graduated from Morristown High School, 1968, and Indiana University. He was employed as a graphic artist at KCL Corp. 1968-1972. A son of Jesse O. Hickman, Sr. and Mary L. Hickman, he was born in 1949 in Beech Grove. He was a member of Freeport United Methodist Church. Surviving are his mother, Mary L. Hickman, Morristown; brothers David L. Hickman, Fountaintown, and James F. Hulman,Jr., Morristown; and a sister, Mrs. Paula Lyons, Zionsville.
