Guion Frances, my mother, and the daughter of Guion Winterstein was born in Vicksburg and lived most of her life in Jackson. Growing up in a one parent household she was forced to leave school early and help care for her three younger brothers. She was a loving sister, devoted wife and mother. She and James are the parents of four children.
