J.H. OVERSTREET
Mr. J.H. Overstreet, one of Fort Bayou's best and most esteemed residents, died on Thursday, May 12, at 8:50 pm, aged 65 years. He was a consistent member of the Baptist Church. He leaves a devoted wife, ten children, one brother, three sisters and thirty-four grandchildren to mourn his loss.
The funeral took place on Friday evening from Antioch Church, Bro. J.H. Havens performing the last sad rites.

Mr. J.H. Overstreet, the father of Mr. Ellis Overstreet, of this place, died at his home, north of Ocean Springs on Thursday of last week, in his 65th year.
