Ellen Midgley, born 29 Nov 1867 in Nephi; married to William Robert Furner, 8 Dec 1886 at Logan; died 25 June 1938 in Salt Lake City. She was Clyde Furner's grandmother.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Midgley Furner, 70, who died Saturday at the family home, 1973 South West Temple street, of an intestinal ailment, will be conducted Tuesday at 10:30 a. m. in the McKinley L. D. S. ward, 1740 South State street. by Bishop William A. Bateman.

Burial will be in Nephi cemetery. Friends may call at 1430 South Main street Monday and Tuesday to time of services.

Mrs. Furner. widow of William Robert Furner and long resident of Juab county. died at 2 a. m. of an intestinal ailment.

She was born in Nephi, November 29. 1867, a daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Midgley. Following her marriage to Mr. Furner in 1886 in the Logan temple. she lived in Mammoth and Nephi. The family came. in 1918, to Salt Laek City. where Mr. Furner died a few months afterward.

Mrs. Furner had been a teacher in the L. D. S. Relief society of the Mammoth and McKinley wards.

Surviving are a son, W. E. Furner; two daughters. Edith and Beula Furner. all of Salt Lake City; two sisters. Mrs. H. S. McClain of Salt Lake City and Mrs. J. F. Bowring of Brigham City; a brother. J. Midgley of Oakland. Cal., 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
