She is wife of Wintfry Bairfield. Interesting enough is that both brothers Willis and Wintfry both had wives with the name Lena.

Earthly Remains of Mrs. Barefield [sic] Interred Friday

Funeral services for Mrs. Wint Barefield [sic], who died in this city Wednesday afternoon of last week, were held at the First Methodist Church Friday morning at nine thirty o'clock, being conducted by Rev. J.T. Griswold, and interment followed in the Citizen's Cemetery. The end came following a lingering illness during which Mrs. Barefield [sic] did not once complain.

The large attendance at the funeral services and the long procession were silent witnesses to the high regard in which Mrs. Barefield [sic] was held by her scores of friends.

Mrs. Barefield [sic] was born December 9, 1879. She was converted and joined the Methodist church in girlhood. In 1896 she was married to Wint Barefield [sic], and to this union were born three children, Charles, Clarence and Lois.

Mrs. Barefield [sic] is survived by her husband, her three children, her mother, Mrs. R.S. Heizer, a sister, Mrs. Wheeler, and two brothers, Oma Scoggins of this city and Rev. Arthur Scoggins, of Wheeler.

A host of friends join in extending to the bereaved relatives condolance and sympathy in their hour of grief.
