Rites Tuesday

Services For Lizzie M. Snider, 77, who died Saturday at Traverse City, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Brutus Mennonite Church. Rev. William Wickey will officiate and interment will be In the Brutus Mennonite Cemetery.

She was born Lizzie Brubacher May 6, 1894 in Dalton, Ohio and came to Brutus as a small child. She lived in the area for five years, then moved to Alberta, Canada and returned after seven years to the Brutus area where she has lived ever since. She attended school in Maple River Twp.

She married David E. Snider September 2, 1915 in Brutus.

Besides her husband she is survived by four sons, Edwin, of Mountain Home, Idaho, Wilson, of Alanson, Vernon, of Gladwin and Ernest, of Upland, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Jonas B. (Ruth) Burkhart, of Brutus; 21 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Amos (Elsie) Gregory, of Alanson, Mrs. Simon (Martha) Yoder of Goshen, Ind. and Mrs. Mattie Babcock, of Conway.

Friends may call at the Stone Funeral Home.



Mrs. Snider was also preceded in death by 4 infant sons; one, b. Dec. 21, 1917 d. Dec. 21, 1917, John B. Snider, b. Dec. 1, 1918 d. Dec. 9, 1918, Owen Snider b. 12 Jan 1920 d. 13 Jan 1920 and David Gene Snider, b. 1938 d. 1938; one daughter, Catherine Mae Snider, b. 1935 d. 1935
