Dear father of Mary Carbonaro, Carolyn Lucz, both of Tuscon, AZ and Joe Abrahamson of Berlin West Germany, dear grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 4.
Mr. Abrahamson enlisted in the Navy in 1927 and was assigned to the USS Mississippi in San Pedro, CA. He joined the Civilian Conservation Corp in 1930 and transferred to the Soil Conservation Corp in 1934.
Started work for the Mt. Arbor Nurseries and was promoted in 1950 to Sales Representative, a position he held for 25 years.
Started work in 1953 as a Sales Representative for Greenleaf Nursery Co. until September, 1987.
Was named (MO. Assoc. of Nurserymen) Man of the Year June 1986 to 1987 was presented the First Annual Wholesale Plant Salesman of the Year Award by the American Assoc. of Nurserymen Member of the St. Louis Jaguar Club and avid
photographer and world traveler.
