Samuel Cooke, aged 60 years, a former resident of Allegheny, is dead at Marion. Ind., and the interment will be made there on Monday. He was a veteran of the Civil War, having served in Company D, One Hundred and Twenty-third Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. He leaves two brothers. W. C. Cooke, of Bellevue, and Montgomery Cooke, of Allegheny: also one sister, Mrs. Solomon Hobson, of Allegheny. He was for many years a painter in Allegheny.
