Mrs. Ruth T. Kaiser, 87, of Frederick, died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Robert Henry Kaiser.
Born April 29, 1920, in Lisbon, she was the daughter of the late John William and Lillian Kennedy Weller.
Mrs. Kaiser was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. In earlier years she was employed in the clerical department at Frederick Underwriters. She was an avid gardener and loved sewing and baking
She is survived by a son, James Kaiser and wife Patricia of Frederick; four grandchildren, Kimberly Parrotte, Angela Snyder, Stephanie Rock and Kathleen Kaiser; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Hammersley of Catonsville; and two daughters-in-law, Clara Wivell-Kaiser of Emmitsburg and Iva Kaiser of Taneytown. She will also be remembered by her close friends Catherine Huffman, Walter and Dagmar Carter.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert "Hank" Kaiser and Gregory Kaiser, and numerous brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24, from St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 116 E. Second St., Frederick.
Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
