Lois C. Capehart, 88, died May 23, 2008, in Bellingham, Wash. She was a resident of Ferndale, Wash., and a former resident of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Nora (Johnson) Bendler; her husband, Chester Capehart; two sisters, Opal Moore and Charlotte Logsdon; and two brothers, Arthur and Vernon Bendler.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Burial will be at Clermont Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis, 7929 N. Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
