Sweetwater - Graveside services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Sweetwater Cemetery for Ellen McBroom, 70, who died Thursday in a Lubbock hospital.
She was the sister of Mary Lou Forbes of Snyder.
Born in Whitney, she was living in Rising Star and was a former resident of Colorado City. She was a homemaker and a Protestant.
Other survivors include six sons, Joe Pendleton of El Paso, Billy Pendleton of Midland, Everett Pendleton of Riverside, Calif., Cortez Pendleton of Abilene, and Frankie Eugene Pendleton and George Pendleton, both of Needville; four daughters, Eileen Reed of Cisco, Margaret Smith of Cisco, Roberta Baker of Rising Star and Pearl Lee Derring of Gatesville; another sister, Pearlee Atkins of Lake Whitney; 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
