Born Nov. 17, 1892, the daughter of John and Ella Larkee at Steptoe, Wash., Mrs. Hoobler lived near Steptoe and in the Cream Ridge area near Lenore until 1912, when she came to Clarkston.
She graduated from Clarkston schools in 1913. In 1921, she married Lester Hoobler at Clarkston. He preceded her in death in June 1973.
Mrs. Hoobler was a member of the Clarkston Methodist Church and worked for the Clarkston Community Corporation for a number of years.
She is survived by two daughters, D. Jean Gallaher of Spokane and Vivienne Elayne Brochmann of Seattle.; one brother, Jack Larkee of Portland; one sister, Ruth Stackhouse of Olympia; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
