Served in WWII with the U.S. Army Air Corps in the China-India Burma theatre and served in combat zones. He was a pilot, navigator, and when needed a bombardier. After WWII he worked as a clerk amongst other occupations and met & married his wife Lorraine in the 1940s.
After 7 children and Grand Children, he was called home to heaven on Jan 1, 1989. A military funeral was performed with taps & a gun volley salute. He served in the military as a Warrant Office Junior Grade (WOJG) and was not assigned to one particular group or battalion.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine and 7 of 8 children with even more grandchildren & now Great grandchildren.
He is missed by his family very much.
