Final Rites For Mrs. Adamcik, 83, at Dubina

Funeral services were held Monday morning at Hubbard Funeral Home here and Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church at Dubina for Mrs. Willie (Agnes) Adamcik, 83, an almost lifelong resident of Dubina.

Burial was in the Dubina Cemetery. Rev. Oswald Kahlich officiated. Grandsons Anthony Adamcik, Larry Southerwood, Leo John Rainosek, Willie Bohac, Daniel Lidiak and Ivan Mazoch Jr. were pallbearers.

Mrs. Adamcik died at 2:45 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, at Youens Memorial Hospital, after about a week as a patient there. She had been an invalid since a stroke last August.

Born Oct. 8, 1886, at Dubina, she was a daughter of Peter and Mary Vacek. She was married to Mr. Adamcik at Dubina on October 30, 1906, and they lived at Hostyn a few years before moving to Dubina. Mr. Adamcik died Nov. 11, 1965.

Mrs. Adamcik was a member of the KJZT and Christian Mothers.

Surviving are one son, Victor of Weimar; eight daughters, Mrs. Joe (Edna) Southerwood of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Paul (Annie) Hock [or Heck] and Miss Adela Adamcik of Houston, Mrs. John (Agnes) Lidiak, Mrs. Leo (Lillie) Rainosek, Mrs. Edwin (Willie Mae) Holub, Mrs. Willie (Mary) Bohac, and Mrs. Ivan (Evelyn) Mazoch, all of Weimar; 40 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John of Schulenburg and Peter of Midfield.
