Mrs. John Eagen rites held Friday
Funeral services were for Mrs. John Eagen, well known former Pardeeville resident will be held from St. Mary's church Pardeeville on Friday October 24, at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Fr Lawrence Jung will officiate. Burial will be in the Rocky Run Cem.
She was born in Pardeeville on July 25, 1883. In 1900 she married John Eagen. The union was blessed with eight children three sons and five daughters, all of whom survive. Death came Monday Oct. 19. at Porter Memorial Hosp. in Valparaiso IN. following a lingering illness. The remains were taken to Johnson Funeral Home in Valparaiso. During her last years Mrs. Eagen lived in Chesterton IN. Survivors include three sons, Martin Gary Indiana, Carl and Roy Chesterton IN, five daughters, Mrs Roy Williams of Spooner WI, Mrs. Daniel Stevenson Picayune MS, Mrs. Elmer Wescher Chesterton IN, Mrs. Richard Peterson Henning MN, and Mrs. Francis (James)Hanna of Pardeeville. Two brothers Melvin and James Griffin, also survive.
