Jessie Jones was the daughter of James A. & Hassie May Smithson Jones. She married Hoyt Adamson 21 Dec, 1945 in Dekalb Co., TN.. They had three children Kenneth, Sherry & Vanessa Adamson.

OBITURARY MRS JESSIE ADAMSON Entered Into Eternal Rest Thursday, Aug. 25, 1966
Mrs. Jessie Adamson, wife of Hoyt W. Adamson of 808 Bridge Avenue, died Thursday at Rutherford Hospital after an illness of 2 years. She was 44 years of age. Funeral services were at 1 p. m. today from Jennings and Ayres Chapel with Clifford Brothers and Neal Roberts officating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery at Liberty, Tenn. Pallbearers were Michael Jones, Charles Bell, Harold Pittman, Levirl Brokofsky, Jimmy Young and Terry Davenport. Mrs. Adamson was born in Cannon County, but had lived here since 1958. She was a member of the Hamilton Drive Church of Christ. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents, James A. and Hassie May Smithson Jones, both of Murfreesboro; one son, Kenneth Adamson, Murfreesboro; 2 daughters, Sherry and Vanessa Adamson of Murfreesboro; a brother, Clyde Jones, Murfreesboro; one sister Mrs. Eugene Bell, Milton, Tenn.
