WHITE - Bob P. White, 85, of Jacksonville, died Wednesday May 7, 2003, at Avante Villa on Jacksonville Beach. He was born in Belvue, Kansas and formerly lived in Kingstree, S. C. were he was employed by Man Power (Williamsburg Tech.). Bob was a retired Lt. Commander with the U.S. Navy and a veteran of WW II, Korea, and Viet Nam. He was a 32 degree Mason in Rossville, Kansas for 62 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Sally R. White of 51 years, a son, Carl L. Ard, and a daughter Reba G. Haller.
Memorial contributions may be made to VFW National Home for Children, 3573 South Waverly Road, Eaton Rapids, MD. 48827. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday, May 11, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. A military graveside service started at 11:45 AM on Monday at Arlington Park.
