She married Frank Schuster on May 5, 1942, in Ellis. He preceded her in death Jan. 4, 1996.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and Altar Society.
Survivors include five sons, Virgil Schuster and wife, Rosalie, and David Schuster and wife, Karla, all of Ellis, Verlin Schuster and wife, Luella, Great Bend, Larry Schuster and wife, Mary, Holcomb, and LaVerne Schuster and wife, Barbara, Russell; two daughters, Elizabeth Newton and husband, Jim, Ellis, and Mary Lou Newcomer and husband, Keevin, Ogallah; three sisters, Anna Geist, WaKeeney, and Regina Schuster and Bertha Riedel, both of Ellis; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Francis Schuster; three sisters, Rosie Berens, Katie Dinkel and Ida Mae Windholz; and a brother.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Ellis; burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church and from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Wasinger-Keithley Funeral Chapel, Ellis. A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church, followed by a Daughters of Isabella rosary service.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mary Catholic Church in care of the chapel.
