ALLEN. At Loon Lake, August 10, Luther Allen, aged thirty-eight years.
Death resulted from paralysis of the heart and came very suddenly. The deceased had recovered from a serious siege of diphtheria three weeks previous to his death. Sons, Victor and Virgil aged three and ten years, were taken from the home by the same dread disease July 6th and 10th, respectively.
Luther Allen was born and reared on the farm where he died. In 1892 he married Miss Olive Pearson, who with three children, Raymond, thirteen, Marion, eight, and Lloyd, one year old, survive. He was a man of good standing in the community.
Monday afternoon neighbors gathered near the home and conducted services and burial was in the Loon Lake cemetery.
