Joe N. Turrill, 73 of Belpre went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 9, 2007. He was born April 24, 1934 at Constitution, Ohio and was the son of the late Alonzo Albert and Hilma Sophia Farley Turrill. He retired from G.E. Plastics and was currently working for the NALCO water treatment company partime. He was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church at Vincent, served with the 82nd Airborne and was a member of the NRA.

Survivors include his wife Sue Turrill, three sons, Tim Turrill and his wife Jackie of Boaz, WV, John Turrill and his wife Lisa of Belpre, Brian Turrill of Belpre, two daughters, Kim Spencer and her husband Cliff of Belpre, Angela Chadock and her husband Bruce of Vienna. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Amy Jo Andermanis and her husband Pete, Beth Spencer, Antonio Little, Hannah Cooper, Aven, Xavier & Alexander Chadock, his great grandchildren, Tyler, Alison, Devin, Spencer, Domanic Andermanis, and Nasaih Spencer Little. His brother Jack Turrill, three sisters, Patsy Gates, Penny Hughes, Charlotte Gillespie and several nieces and nephews also survive him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Max & Edward Turrill.

Services will be on Thursday at 2:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Clay Sloan officiating. Burial will follow in the Gravel Bank Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and up to service time on Thursday. Military Graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #15, Parkersburg, WV.
