HENRY N. ABEL, 94, retired eight years ago from Elwyn School, Elwyn, after more than 30 years of service, died Tuesday at his home, 114 Spring St., Middletown Heights, Middletown.
Mr. Abel was a member of Lima Methodist Church, Lima.
He is survived by his widow, the former Mary C. Young; a son, Carlton of Elwyn; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Knafla of Philadelphia, Mrs. Alan Read, Mrs. Helen Stevens and Mrs. Tryon Singer, all of Middletown Heights; a brother, G. Clarence of Morton; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Cumberland Cemetery, Lima.
