Mrs. Bessie Everritt Cates,74,513 E.Anderson St.,died Thrusday. She came to Orlando 10 years ago from Thomasville,Ga. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors:daughters,Mrs. Margaret C. Murray and Mrs. Doris Moye,both of Orlando,and Nell C. Sellers,Jackson,Tenn.;sons,Paul E.,Bellaire,Tex.,J.Frank and David A.,both of Houston,Tex.,and Roy,Pasadema,Tex.,mother,Mrs.J.E.Everritt,East Tallahassee,Ala.,brother A.R.,Navasota,Tex.,sister,Mrs.Irene Kelley,Lanett,Ala.;23 grandchildren;nine great-grandchildren. Carey-Hand Funeral Home in charge.

Services will be held Saturday at 4:pm in the Primative Baptist Church,Thomasville,Ga. with interment to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetary,Thomas county,Georgia.

Bessie's parents were Joseph Sampson Everritt & Julia Anne Eliza (Pritchett) Everritt. She married Clarence Cleveland Cates on June 29, 1910. They had 8 children Mary Elizabeth Cates, Paul Everritt Cates, Doris Idella Cates (Moye),Joseph Franklin Cates, David Alan Cates, Margaret Ruth Cates (Murray), Bessie Nell Cates (Sellers), & Roy Cates.
