From The Pierre Gerardy Family in America, by Evelyn Potter Park, 1979, p. 35:

Marguerite Lucile Faivre was born June 18, 1918, at Wakefield, Kansas, and was married Sept. 14, 1947, at Clay Center, Kansas, to Dr. John Oliver Baeke. They reside at 9817 Lee Circle, Leawood, Kansas. Marguerite moved from Wakefield to Clay Center with her family in 1926 and graduated from the Clay Center High School. She received a B.M. degree in violin and in music education from Bethany College, Lindsborg, Kansas. She attended the music camp at Interlochen, Michigan, in 1936, and also attended The New England Conservatory of Music at Boston, Mass., and the University of Kansas at Lawrence, Kansas.

She has served as president of the Kansas City Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, the Johnson County Auxiliary to the Kansas Medical Society, the Merriam Music Study Club, and the Musical Club, P.E.O. and Leawood Woman's Club. Marguerite has served as church organist for the Overland Park Presbyterian Church since 1960. In that capacity she has played for the Court of Honor for over fifty Eagle Scouts. After taking a vacation to rear her family, she has returned to teaching and is currently a teacher of music in the Shawnee Mission Schools.

Marguerite and John have two children, Joni Lucile Baeke and John Lynn Baeke.

From her obituary:

Marguerite Lucile (Faivre) Baeke, of Leawood, KS, passed away on October 11, 2004, at Blue River Care Center, Kansas City, MO, following a prolonged illness with Alzheimer's Disease. Mrs. Baeke was born to Adrian and Helena Maude (Rundle) Faivre in Wakefield, KS, on June 18, 1918. She lived most of her earlier life in Clay Center, KS, graduating from Clay Center Community High School in 1936. She received degrees in Music Education and Violin from Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS, in 1940. Many Kansas students have benefited from her wonderful teaching ability in elementary through high school levels for 38 years, teaching in Hanover, Hutchinson, Lawrence, and the Shawnee Mission School District. Marguerite was an accomplished pipe organist, and the principal organist for the Overland Park Presbyterian Church for 40 years. Bringing glorious music to the glory of God was one of her greatest joys. Marguerite was a member of SAI Music Fraternity for Women, having received her 50-year pin and Rose of Honor. She belonged to PEO and Merriam Music Study Club as well as Leawood Women's Club. After retirement, she enjoyed Daughters of the British Empire and the Retired Teacher's Association.
Marguerite married John Oliver Baeke of Clay Center, KS, on September 14, 1947. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at Village Church with a beautiful reception in 1997. They enjoyed an active life together and shared common interests such as concerts, Barbershop singing, traveling and automobile restoration. Mrs. Baeke was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mildred Loraine (Faivre) Klaumann. She is survived by her husband, John O. Baeke, M.D., her daughter and son-in-law, Joni Baeke-Hartong, M.D., and Toby J. Hartong, M.D., of Leawood and their daughters, Holly Marlaina, Heidi Jill and Heather JoEllen. In addition, Mrs. Baeke has a son, John L. Baeke, M.D., and Suzanne Baeke of Overland Park, granddaughters, Brittney Rose of Birmingham, AL, and Olivia. The family suggests memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 64421, St. Paul, MN 55164, or Village Presbyterian Church Music Ministry, 6641 Mission Road, P.O. Box 8050, Prairie Village, KS 66208.
Marguerite never complained about her disease and always carried herself with dignity. She remained a source of inspiration for all who knew her. We will miss her beautiful smile and glorious music, her creativity and love of fun. But the Faivre sisters are reunited in heaven at last, and the angels are rejoicing to their beautiful violin and piano duets. He hath achieved success who has lived well, whose life was an inspiration and whose memory a benediction.
