Doris F. Liken, 75, died unexpectedly Oct. 25, 1999 at her home. She was born Aug. 25, 1924 in Kilmanagh, Michigan, the daughter of the late Henry J. J. and Maria M. (Ziede) Marotzke.
She was married to Arthur F. Liken on Oct. 7, 1949 in Sebewaing, MI. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1991.
Doris was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Mary Martha Guild. She was also very active in and secretary of the Sebewaing V.F.W.Auxiliary.
Surviving were two sisters, Frances Barnes of Ann Arbor and Carol Jean Allard of Newport News, VA; three sisters-in-law, Marie Liken and Florence Liken, both of Sebewaing, MI, and Esther Thumme of Elkton, MI; one brother-in-law, Carl Liken of Sebewaing, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Titsworth.
