She was the daughter of Matthias Kessler and Nancy (Coleman) Kessler

Anne and David were married about 1862-1863

Mrs Anna Elizabeth (Kessler) Hollis, widow of David Hollis, died at the home of daughter, Mrs Thomas Brown of Bellwood on 10 Sep 1915, of complications of liver. She was 72, and was survived by five children: Mrs Emma Kopp of Dysart, Mrs H McCauley, Mrs May Foster, and Giilbert Hollis of Frugality, and Mrs Viola Brown of Bellwood.
