MISS HANNAH BOLLES

Wilmington, Feb. 13.— Miss Hannah Pattison Bolles, whose ancestors were long identified with the history of North Carolina, died this morning at her home here after a lengthy illness. Her father, Maj. Charles Pattison Bolles, served In the United States coast and geodetic survey from 1845 to 1861. Under Gen. Theodore Holmes, commanding North Carolina state troops In May 1861, with the rank of englneers, he constucted the first battery on the Cape Fear river at Federal Point, which bore his name.
Miss Bolles was a member of St. James Episcopal church, North Carolina Society of Colonial Dames, Society of American Women In London and Daughters of the Confederacy.
Funeral service will be conducted at the residence 409 Orange street tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock'.
