Steve B. Logan III, 74, a resident of Casa, died Sunday, September, 2, 2007, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock.

He was born November 1, 1932, in Lexington, Kentucky to Stephen B. Logan II and Minnie Davies Logan. Steve was a member of the Casa First Baptist Church. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky, a retired civil engineer from Tennessee Valley Authority and the International Paper Company. He was an avid deer hunter and a member of the North American Hunting Club. He was also a devoted University of Kentucky basketball fan. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Rayma Logan; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen IV and Trina Logan; four daughters and a son-in-law, Leah Little, Lori and David Blair, Linda Walker, and Jill Tobar; two step sons and a step daughter-in-law, Joey Fisher and Barry and Connie Fisher; a brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Judy Logan; seven grandchildren, Justin Blair, Joshua Blair, Brooke Little, Cambry Little, Jenson Logan, Quentin Logan, and Lillie Tobar; a great granddaughter, Loren Little; and a step granddaughter Baylee Fisher.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at the Casa First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Tanner, the Rev. Jack Bean, the Rev. William West, and Rev. Joe Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Casa Cemetery under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be True Robinson, James Townsell, John Young, Jimmy Stewart, Jerry Allen, and Steve Harrington.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
