"Norsworthy's Rites Slated - Private funeral services for Clarence L. Norsworthy, 54, of 5906 DeLoache, an independent oil operator, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Chapel, 7405 W. Northwest Highway. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. A native of Dallas, Norsworthy died here Sunday. He had lived in Dallas most of his life. He attended Yale University and was graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1937. He had operated his own oil firm since his graduation from SMU. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Petroleum Club, Koon Kreek Club and several oil industry associations. He was an elder at Highland Park Presbyterian Church."

Pallbearers: Jack Munger, Richard W. Phelan, W. Stewart Simkins, Mike J. Genaro, Vester T. Hughes Jr., Joe Tompkins, Abilene, Ken Boren, E.L. Smith Jr., Jack Pew Jr., Charles E. Seay, Tom Boodeil. Private interment Greenwood."
