Mr. Abeles, a former antiques dealer in Rock Hill where he had lived 52 years, was born Dec. 28, 1884, in New York City to Jacob and Bertha Klemper Abeles.
In addition to his widow, Pearl Bates, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Brown, and two grandchildren, all of Rock Hill; and a sister, Mrs. Emma Lierheimer of Sea Cliff, L.I.

Rudolph and Pearl were married at the Methodist Episcopal parsonage in Bridgeville on May 26, 1916. The ceremony was performed by Rev. C. H. Basford.
