Clell C. Ainsworth, 79, was buried here Thursday afternoon in the Foster Cemetery. Services had been conducted in the First Methodist Church with Rev. Roy Wold, pastor, officiating. Ross Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Clell had died at 9:45 a.m. in the Sterling County Hospital Wednesday following a short illness.
He was born in Sterling City October 2, 1897. He was married to Agnes Augustine November 14, 1922 in Sterling City. He was a member of the Methodist Church, a Mason and was retired. For many years he had owned and operated service stations here.
Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Erma Lee Edwards and Mrs. Lura McClellan, both of Sterling City and one nephew and three nieces.
Pallbearers were Bill N. McClellan, Wayland and Bill Foster, all of Sterling City, Tommie Augustine of Water Valley, and Sam and Carrol Robbins of San Angelo.
