Born at Wellington, KS, died as result of a hit and run accident near her home. Her parents were Jack and Dorothea (Ratterree) Shidler. Darla worked at McCalls Pattern Co sence Feb. 1977, in several positions. She loved her dog Millie, gradening and spending time with family and friends. On March 28, 1981, she married Frank L. Dugan, he preceded her in death Oct. 17,2007. Survivors include one sister, Marcy Brown and her husband Eugene; two step-daughters Marcia Morgan of Kansas City; and Amy Mann of Topeka; Franks brother and sister, Jerry Dugan and wife Debbie of Wamego and Jane Samarral and husband, Chester of Topeka, four nephews, nieces and three grandchildren. Funeral Services held Aug. 7 at the Yorgenson-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home in Manhatten with the Rev Jim Lowry officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens East of Manhatten.
