George Pattison (Patterson) Dugan was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, January 4, 1888; died enroute to California, July 24, 1947, aged 59, of heart disease; buried at Holyhood Cemetery, July 30, 1947.
George was first in business with his father. Later he was a stage electrician and traveled with different shows. He was a veteran of World War I.
He toured Europe with the Dolly Sisters as a stage electrician and may have been in their act. [The Dolly Sisters were Rosika (Rosie) and Yansci (Jenny) Deutsch, twins born in Hungary.]
George was enroute to Hollywood to work on a movie with an old friend, then a producer, Shelton Leonard, when he died. George was very friendly and jovial and had many friends in Vaudeville.
