Second son and child of Nellie Burkhart and George Royce. Little George, named after his father, died just a few months following the death of his father, who had died from Consumption, now known as TB in May, 1890. I don't know if the child also died from TB or not, but I know it broke his mother's heart. If not for his older brother, I don't know if she would have wanted to continue to live, but the days passed and time went on and she lived to marry again. She always missed her baby boy, though, wondering what would have happened had he lived to adulthood. When Nellie died, she was buried by her 1st husband and her baby boy at the Masonic Cemetery, Albany, Linn County, Oregon.
