Leon "Blacky" Blackburn
GRANBURY - Leon "Blacky" Blackburn, a retired maintenance engineer, died Saturday at a Granbury hospital. He was 81. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today in Acton Cemetery in Hood County. Martin's Funeral Home in Granbury is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Blackburn worked 46 years for Ralston Purina Mills and was a former employee of Texas Steel Co. in Fort Worth. He was a member of the Odd Fellows.
Survivors: Wife, Winnie Blackburn of Granbury; two sons, Ray Blackburn of Alvarado, James Blackburn of Fort Worth; daughter, Kay Tolksdorf of Burleson; and sister, Corean Howard of Granbury.
