He was employed as a crane operator for 14 years at Alter Co.., Davenport. He retired in 1986. He also dealt in scrap metals and earlier worked for many years at Del-Rich Battery and Metal Co., Davenport. Mr. Buehl married Lena Maxine Hatfield in 1946. His memberships included Rock Island Eagles Order 956 and, he enjoyed fishing, camping and junking. His dogs, Pamie and Tiny, which were like children to him, were a big part of his life.

Mr. Raymond Kenneth "Tillie" Buehl, age 69, died Saturday, April 27, 1991 in Davenport, Ia. He was born February 25, 1922 in Keokuk, Iowa to Harry John Buehl and Edith (Chaknine) Buehl. He married Myrtle Louise Frame in 1940, together they had 4 children; Michael, Alvin, Bonnie and Robert. He later married Lena (Hatfield) Burgess on June 30, 1946 and together they had 5 children; Paul, Maxine, Raymond Jr., Barbara and Penny. He served in World War II in the U.S. Army were he received 2 bronze stars.
He was preceded in death by both parents, his son; Michael L. Buehl, Gautier, Ms. daughters; infant Maxine M. Buehl, Keokuk, Ia. and Penny L. Duncan, Moline, Il. step-son; LaVerne Burgess, Westminster, Ca. grandson; Steven A. Buehl, Gautier, Ms. brothers; Robert E Buehl, Keokuk, Ia. and Clarence A. Buehl, Davenpot, Ia.
