He was a French descent, his great grandfather having come to America with General LaFayette and fought under him in the Revolutionary War.

T B Appell suicides. Oct 23rd at the old Drewry homestead near Witt
Springs. He was 65 years of age. He leaves a good wife and a bright little
daughter age 12 to mourn his loss. The remains were laid to rest at Witt
Springs Cemetery Friday, Oct 24th.
